Name: John “D” Brannon
Origin: Legacy collection, Rebel Pilot Evolutions series 2
Date: 2009
Comments: The first release of another ill fated Battle of Yavin pilot. Brannon uses parts from two other pilots, namely the Legacy X-Wing pack in Wedge Antilles and comic pack Nrin Vakil. Brannon came with a DL type hand blaster.

Name: Jeck Porkins
Origin: Power of the Jedi
Date: 2000
Comments: The first release of Jeck Porkins, he featured a removable helmet and statistics cards but came with no side arm, one of the few all new figure in the pilot line up.

Name: Y-wing Pilot
Origin: Power of the Force Y-Wing Vehicle
Date: 2000
Comments: Released only as a pack in figure with the exclusive Target Y-Wing Fighter, this figure is not representative of any one pilot from A New Hope. He uses the same body as Power of the Force Biggs Darklighter and the Wedge Antilles cinema scene figure, the head was also used for the Garven Dries Blue Saga Red Leader X-Wing pack in figure. No accessory was supplied with this figure.

Name: Derek “Hobbie” Klivian
Origin: 30th Anniversary Collection comic pack X-Wing Rogue Squadron
Date: 2007
Comments: Hobbi defected to the rebellion with Biggs Darklighter and began a long career in Rogue Squadron, but not after picking up a few injuries along the way. The figure again uses the body of Dutch Vander but with a new head, repainted helmet and Rebel blaster.

Name: Jorg Sacal
Origins: Comic Con Exclusive Figure
Date: 2002
Comments: One of the most sought after pilot figures to be released in the modern collection, George Lucas lends his likeness to this force sensitive pilot with a reputation for storytelling. A removable helmet, blaster and small model X-Wing with stand came supplied. There is also a lighter beard variation on this figure.

Name: Garven Dreis
Origin: Blue Saga, Red Leaders X-Wing (Death Star Trench)
Date: 2004.
Comments: Another kit bashed figure, the body is from the Power of the Jedi Luke x-wing and the head is a repaint of the nameless pilot released with the Power of the Force 2 Y - Wing vehicle. This first release of Garven came as a pack in with his large scale Red Leader X-Wing fighter. The figure came with no weapon accessory.

Name: Biggs Darklighter Rebel Pilot
Origin: 30th Anniversary Collection
Date: 2007
Comments: Once again this figure utilized the body of Dutch Vander with a new head, a repainted helmet, silver collectors coin and a Rebel blaster. This version of Biggs can be found on the Ultimate Galactic Hunt gold card too.

Name: Biggs Darklighter X-Wing Pilot
Origin: Power of the Force 2 Freeze Frame
Date: 1998
Comments: The first and long awaited figure of Biggs Darklighter to be released utilized the body of the Wedge Antilles figure from the Rebel Pilots Cinema Scene and came with a blaster rifle, pistol and a “Freeze Frame” slide showing a still from A New Hope. A standard DL blaster and an oversized blaster rifle were supplied.

Name: Wedge Antilles
Origin: The Legacy Collection
Date: 2010
Comments. The first of the better articulated Wedge Antilles pilot's, this version of Wedge was found in the Legacy Collection Red Two X-Wing fighter vehicle. Very similar to the Vintage Collection Wedge but differs in the provided blaster being the DL type instead of the Rebel Fleet Trooper blaster and the head sculpt is different to the VC.
A basic kit-bash figure using the arms, legs, and waist of Nrin Vakil, the gloves and helmet from 2006's VTSC Evolutions Wes Janson, and a new torso. The helmet is the same as similar X-Wing pilots.

Name: Wedge Antilles
Origin: The Vintage Collection
Date: 2010
Comments. For a while after it's release, this was one of the hardest to find figures in the Vintage Collection. The figure is basically the retooled body of the 2006 Saga Vintage Collection Luke X-Wing figure that was also used for the "Battle Over Endor" four pack figure of fellow pilot Grizz Frix. This figure features a different head sculpt to that found on the Legacy Collection's pack in figure of Wedge that was supplied with the Red Two X-Wing fighter. The blaster supplied with this figure is of the Rebel Fleet Trooper type rather than the DL type blaster found with the Red Two pack in figure.

Name: Wedge Antilles
Origin: The Original Trilogy Collection
Date: 2005
Comments: The third figure of Wedge to be released is kit bashed using the body of Dutch Vander, and the head and helmet are from earlier POTF2 cinema scene version. Accessories included a small rebel blaster and figure stand.

Name: Wedge Antilles
Origins: Power of the Force 2, Rebel Pilots Cinema Scene 3 pack
Date: 1999
Comments: This version of Wedge shares the same body sculpt as the Power of the Force 2 Biggs Darklighter, but this time, the figure has a removable helmet. Wedge does not come with any weapon accessory

Name:Wedge Antilles
Origin: Power of the Force 2
Date: 1997
Comments: A pack in figure of Wedge that was available in the Millennium Falcon figure carry case, this is the corrected pain applications figure, the helmet now has the dark stripes and the sleeves have not been painted. Seen here still sealed inside the yellow backed bubble found inside the carry case. A standard rebel blaster is yet again provided.

Name: Wedge Antilles
Origin: Power of the Force 2
Date: 1997
Comments: The is the original edition of a figure that was packed in with the Millennium Falcon figure carry case. The figure was placed in the cockpit of the falcon so as to be visible from the outside. As stated, this is the first and most rare figure of Wedge because he has incorrect paint applications on both the helmet and his sleeves. The helmet is in the colours of Luke's Skywalker, and the sleeves ribbed detail is painted white. The figure was corrected soon after the mistakes where noticed, but a few of the carry cases still exist with the "Wedge Helmet Mistake" figure sealed in side. As in the picture, the figure came sealed in a bubble with yellow card backing, a standard rebel blaster came with the figure. The body is the same sculpt as the Luke Snowspeeder / X-Wing.

Name:Wedge Antilles
Origin: Power of the Force 2
Date: 1997
Comments: A pack in figure of Wedge that was available in the Millennium Falcon figure carry case, this is the corrected version of the earlier inaccurate one. The helmet now features the correct dark stripes and the sleeves have not been painted. Seen in the image loose, he in fact came inside a sealed bubble mounted on yellow card. The carded bubble was situated in the cockpit of the case. A standard rebel blaster was also supplied.

Name: Luke Snowspeeder pilot
Origins: Legacy Collection
Date: 2009
Comments: This is the fourth figure to depict Luke Skywalker in his Snowspeeder cold weather gear. The sculpting and level of detail is vastly improved. The accessories are well made also, for the first time a harpoon line is supplied to use with the new Legacy AT-AT. An accurate deactivated lightsaber hilt is clipped on Luke’s belt, but strangely, no ignited lightsaber or blaster is supplied with this figure.

Name: Luke Skywalker "Dagobah Landing"
Origin: The Vintage Collection
Date: 201
Comments: This depicts Luke on his arrival on the planet Dagobah. The figure is the best yet of Luke in his Snowspeeder outfit, and is a basic kit bash of the earlier Legacy Collection's version except this time there is a new skirt, head and forearms. There is a variation on this figure in the area of the lightsaber, the initial release featured a light blue saber, later releases feature a darker saber

Name: Luke Skywalker
Origin: 30th Anniversary Collection, Dark Horse comics “Heir to the Empire” comic pack.
Date: 2007
Comments: One of the more unusual Luke X-Wing figures, it depicts Luke during his escape from the smuggler Talon Karrde on the planet Myrkr. The helmet is unique in the fact that is the only X-Wing helmet to date that is a full face mask. Other accessories include lightsaber, a chest worn holster belt with blaster and a breather pipe from helmet to belt. This figure was part of a two pack also featuring Mara Jade.

Name: Luke Skywalker
Origin: 30th Anniversary Collection
Date: 2007
Comments: The third figure depiction of Luke Skywalker in Hoth Snowspeeder gear. He originates from the 30th Anniversary Collection's Ultimate Battle of Hoth pack. This figure is a basic kit bash of the following part and figures, Luke Tatooine VOTC's head, the body and helmet of Zav Senesca and, for some reason, the ANH design saber of Obi-Wan Kenobi. The helmet has been repainted to Luke colour scheme and the costume has been weathered. Quite rare, or at least not commonly seen away from the battle pack, this was the closest accuracy until the Legacy Collection's excellent Speeder pilot release.

Name: Luke Skywalker X-Wing Pilot
Origin: Power of the Force 2
Date: 1995
Comments: This figure is based on Luke’s appearance in The Empire Strikes Back due to his wearing a Snowspeeder outfit. This figure’s accessories are a blaster and the later “short lightsaber”. The original Luke X-Wing was packaged with a longer, out of scale, Lightsaber. As with this figures initial long saber release, the card and name depict Luke as seen in the battle of Yavin yet the figure depicts the battle of Hoth.

Name: Luke Skywalker, X-Wing Pilot
Origin: The Legacy Collection, Droid Factory twin pack
Date: 2008
Comments: One of the first genuinely accurate Luke X-Wing figures to be produced and depicts Luke at the end of ANH. A far improved and detailed cast this Luke is only let down in the fact that it comes with Vader’s saber hilt clipped to his belt. Being very similar to the Vintage Saga Collection figure, it differs in the fact the leg straps are silver and no blaster is supplied with this figure.

Name: Luke Skywalker, X-Wing Pilot
Origins: Vintage Saga Collection
Date: 2006
Comments: At the time of release this was a whole new figure of Luke X-Wing. This figure boasted better articulation, a more accurate helmet and detailing and a hand blaster. The lightsaber is accurate but the hilt supplied belongs to Darth Vader. This figure was found on a reproduction vintage card that was encased in a thin plastic starcase type display case.

Name: Luke Skywalker X-Wing Pilot
Origins: Power of the Jedi
Date: 2000
Comments: After the muscular look of the Power of the Force 2 line started to filter out there came this more authentic Luke X-wing figure, a slimmed down body and for the first time, a removable helmet with transparent visor. This figure is also much easier to place into the cockpit of an X-Wing fighter. No accessories were supplied but there was a force file fold out card containing character information.

Name: Luke Skywalker X-Wing Pilot
Origins: Power of the Force 2
Date: 1995
Comments: The first version of Luke to be released came with a lightsaber that was much longer and out of scale, hence these early variations became known as “Longsabers”. Later figures sabres where shortened down for better scaling. A hand blaster was also provided. An interesting point about this figure is in the naming and card picture which depicts Luke during the battle of Yavin, yet the figure depicts Luke during the Battle of Hoth.
Name: Luke Skywalker Snowspeeder Pilot
Origin: The Power of the Jedi
Date: 2002
Comments: Found in the Power of the Jedi "Luke Skywalker's Snowspeeder", this may look like the original Power of the Force 2 Luke X-wing figure at first glance, but it has some differences. The head is the same as previous POTF2 but the body is that of Luke's co-pilot, Dak, the companion figure supplied in the vehicle. The body is slightly taller and better defined, the chestbox pipe is an external piece, not moulded into the body as with the POTF2. Paint applications differ from the POTF2 with the red chest box light replacing the original blue, the white pressure strapping is replaced with grey, and the brown, silver buckled belt is a thinner grey with no buckle detail.

Name: Luke Skywalker X-Wing pilot
Origin: The Legacy Collection Comic Con Exclusive
Date: 2009
Comments: This figure was an exclusive that could only be purchased at the San Diego Comic Con convention in 2009, and is commonly referred to as "Smiling Luke" due to his facial expression. The figure came in it's own star case with Comic Con logo sticker and the supplied accessories where a lightsaber, flight helmet and a never before available yellow step ladder and platform, as used by the ground crew for X-Wing maintenance. Based on the well re-used Luke VTSC body, what makes this figure different is the new head sculpt, but the body still remains the same as previous, right down to the hole in Luke's belt meant to accommodate Luke's additional Saber hilt, an accessory not supplied with this version of the VTSC figure.

Name: Biggs Darklighter
Origins: Legacy Collection Evolutions Imperial Pilots Legacy
Date: 2008
Comments: This figure depicts Biggs during his time as an Imperial fighter pilot. The figure is quite an important step forward in the evolution of a better Tie Pilot figure. This is a kit bashed figure using the legs from the Blue Saga 2004 pilot, a new torso, arms, head and helmet. This figure formed the basis for many Tie Pilots to come in the Legacy series and Vintage Collection.

Name: Derek “Hobbi” Klivian
Origin: Legacy Collection "Ecliptic Evader" Tie fighter
Date: 2008
Comments: This Hobbi Klivian figure was exclusively packed inside the Legacy Collection large wing Rand Ecliptic Tie Figure vehicle. Klivian shares parts with Evolutions Biggs Darklighter and comes with the same open faced removable helmet, chest box and blaster. As interesting fact about this and the Biggs figure is that the open faced helmets wwas first seen in the graphic novel that tell the defection of Biggs and Hobbie. The open helmets enabled the readers to distinguish between the two pilots.
Name: Tie Fighter Pilot 181st Elite Squadron
Origin: 30th Anniversary Collection
Date: 2007
Comments: This particular figure was supplied in the box of the 30th Anniversary Collections "Elite Tie Interceptor" vehicle and represents a pilot from the 181st Elite Tie Interceptor Squadron. It is a simple repaint of 2004's Blue Saga TIE Fighter Pilot, pained with a white chest plate and harness. The red lines on the sleeves and trousers are similar in nature to Han Solo's Corellian blood stripes as they represent a certain level of skill and or kills in battle.

Name: Tie Fighter Pilot Ace
Origin: Evolutions: Imperial Pilots Legacy
Date: 2009
Comments: One of three figures found in the second Legacy Collections Evolutions series entitled Imperial Pilots Legacy. This is the best Tie Pilot to date, far better articulation that previous figures, a holster belt and blaster pistol are supplied and for the first time, the helmet can be removed to reveal a Fett Clone Trooper head. The helmet has two grey stripes denoting him to be a fighter Ace. The figure's body was first used on the Legacy Collection Biggs Darklighter Tie Pilot from Evolutions Imperial Pilots Legacy set 1 of the previous year. Since then, it has gone on to be used in other Legacy releases and Vintage Collection releases.

Name: Tie Fighter Pilot
Origin: Star Wars Saga (Blue Saga cards)
Date: 2004
Comments: Another sculpting of the "A New Hope" Tie Pilot. Similar to the earlier Power of the Jedi pack in pilot but much more accurate and in scale. The hips and knees are articulated to enable a good seated pose in a Tie vehicle, the gloves on both arms swivel, the right elbow and shoulder is articulated, the left arm is rigid except for the shoulder and the helmet has limited movement. Accessories supplied are a E-11 blaster and a rectangular figure stand.
Name: Tie Fighter Pilot
Origin: Power of the Jedi
Date: 2001
Comments: The large scale Tie Interceptor vehicle from the POTJ line included this improved Tie Pilot, and a year later, the same figure was included with the Tie Bomber vehicle. This figure has also featured in many Imperial vehicle re-releases through the run of modern toys. The figure is a little trimmer than the Power of the Force 2 version, the knees bend to a 90 degree angle to achieve a good seating position and the helmet is articulated. No weapons or accessories were supplied with this figure.

Name: Tie Fighter Pilot
Origin: Power of the Force 2
Date: 1996
Comments: This figure suffered from the "steroid" pumped up look of all the early POTF2 line, but had some major improvements in the form of an articulated helmet, a matt and shiny paint job and external gas exchange helmet pipes, all features missed from the vintage figure. Accessories were in the form of an oversized blaster rifle and E-11.

Name: Republic Gunship Pilot.
Origin: Imperial Pilot Evolutions series II
Date: 2009
Comments: A repaint of the Revenge of the Sith Clone trooper Evolutions pilot, he comes with a new removable helmet, chest box and DC-15s blaster.

Name: Clone Pilot
Origin: The Legacy Collection, Imperial Pilot Evolutions Series 1.
Date: 2008
Comments: This is an upgraded of the Revenge Clone pilot. It uses the same weapon and legs as the original figure but with and a new upper body featuring proper articulation in the elbow joints. The helmet has a transparent visor and is removable, as is the chest box. A CD-15s blaster is also supplied.

Name: Clone Trooper V-Wing Pilot
Origin: Evolutions Imperial Pilots Legacy
Date: 2009
Comments: This figure features in a Wall Mart Exclusive pack with two other figures. Piloting the V-wing Star Fighter, this figure is a basic "Shadow Squadron" repaint of the previous grey Evolutions pilot. Features of this figure are a removable helmet, chest box and DC-15s blaster.

Name: Republic Gunship Clone Trooper Pilot
Origin: Revenge of the Sith Clone Trooper to Stormtrooper Evolutions, set 2.
Date: 2005
Comments: This figure is from the second release of the Revenge of the Sith evolutions set, and is a repaint. This time the Pilot is missing the yellow armour markings, now featuring red smudges, various black chip effects and weathering marks on the armour. Accessories particular to this figure include a DC-15s, a yellow trim flight helmet and a plain white phase one helmet. This figure was released once again during 2008 in the 30th Anniversary Evolutions sets.

Name: Republic Gunship Clone Trooper Pilot
Origin: Evolutions Revenge of the Sith Clone Trooper to Stormtrooper
Date: 2005
Comments: This figure in Clone Wars phase 1 guise belongs to the original release of the Evolutions 3 pack. The figure features yellow markings on the armour, Geonosis coloured weathering and black chipped battle worn armour. A great feature of this figure are the two helmets, one being the phase 1 Mandolorian style and the other is the gun ship pilot type. Accessories in the pack particular to this figure are a DC-15s, a yellow trim flight helmet and a yellow trim phase 1 helmet.

Clone Trooper Pilot, 30th Anniversary "Elite ARC-170" Battle Pack (description to follow)

Name: Clone Pilot
Origin: Revenge of the Sith
Date: 2005
Comments: This black Clone pilot was a running change to the Revenge of the Sith grey pilot, it uses the same body as the original figure but is just a straight forward repaint. The figure came with the same firing cannon and DC-15s accessories as the original grey pilot. This figure can also be found in the Jedi Temple Assault set and the K-Mart exclusive 30th Anniversary Revenge of the Sith tin set. The helmet and the chest box are not removable.

Name: Clone Pilot
Origin: Revenge of the Sith
Date: 2005
Comments: First seen early on in the initial Coruscant battle scene in Revenge of the Jedi piloting the ARC-170 Star Fighter. The accessories included a firing blaster cannon (also found with the Padme Amidala Coruscant Attack figure in the Blue Saga line) and a DC-15s. The helmet and chest box are not removable on this original version.

Name: Republic Gunship pilot
Origin: Blue Saga / AOTC
Date: 2002
Comments: The first Clone pilot to be released was, by today’s standards, a basic figure with limited articulation, although the head was unusually hinged so it has limited horizontal and vertical movement. The supplied accessories were a DC-15s and a missile firing cannon in the style of the globe shaped side guns seen on Republic Gun Ships.

Turkish "Yuza" Tie Fighter Pilot bootleg figure (description to follow)

Name: Tie Fighter pilot
Origin: The Empire Strikes Back
Date: 1982
Comment: The figure featured a grey blaster of the same make as Nien Numb and the Cloud Car Pilot. The Tie pilot was seen originally in ANH but had to wait 4 years for a release. He suffered the same inability as the Stormtrooper in a lack of head articulation.
Name: B-wing Pilot
Origin: Return of the Jedi
Date: 1983.
Comments: The "Blade" Wing Pilot was released on the Jedi card and the Power of the Force coin card, this pilot is not representative of any one movie character, screen time was minimal for any sequence even featuring a B-Wing vehicle and only a very few shot’s can be seen in the Rebel briefing room of any B-wing pilot in uniform. He came with the same blaster as the A-Wing Pilot and Leia Poncho.

Name: The Twin Pod Cloud Car Pilot
Origin: The Empire Strikes Back
Date: 1981
Comments: One of the few vintage figures to be released with two accessories, a blaster, of the same type as the Tie Pilot and Nien Numb, and a small communications unit. It is interesting to note that this figures card picture was a close up of the cockpit of the model vehicle and puppet of the pilot that was used in filming effects shots at ILM.

Name: A-Wing Pilot
Origin: Return of the Jedi - Power of the Force / Tri-Logo / Droids
Date: 1984
Comments: The last pilot figure to be released in the vintage line was the A-Wing pilot. He was later released on the “Droids” line, as was the A-Wing vehicle. A simplistic figure with sparse detail and a blaster of the same type as by the B-wing pilot and Leia Endor, he is one of the last 17 figures released and remains quite sought after.

Name: Nien Numb
Origin: Return of the Jedi
Date: 1983
Comments: First released as a Mail away offer on the early Jedi 48 back cards, Nien Numb later became more widely available on the Jedi 65 back. The character wear’s his red jump suit and under helmet skull cap of a B-wing pilot.
